Collection: Wheel Arch Tubes, Brackets and Miscellaneous

McNaughtans mudguard supports and miscellaneous accessories group together the parts that hold and protect the wheel area on trucks, trailers and industrial vehicle bodies. The collection includes flanged and plain supports in Ø34 and Ø42 mm, in lengths from 260 to 750 mm, in zinc-plated steel and in PVC, along with side guard bars and rollers with bracket.

How to choose a mudguard support

Start from the tube diameter, which must match the clamp or flange already fitted, and go on to the length, which sets the gap between the wheel and the mudguard. Check whether the mounting needs a flange or bolts on directly, and choose the material by use: zinc-plated steel takes impact better, while PVC does not rust and absorbs vibration more readily.

  • Match the tube diameter to the fixing.
  • Choose the length according to the wheel clearance.
  • Confirm whether the mounting uses a flange.
  • Decide between zinc-plated steel and PVC by use.

Frequently asked questions

Which diameter do I need, 34 or 42 mm?

The one already fitted to the vehicle, or that of the clamp you intend to mount. They are not interchangeable without changing the fixing as well.

Does a PVC support take as much as a steel one?

It takes less direct impact, but it flexes instead of deforming and does not corrode, so it suits exposed, lower-load mountings.
